Secured OHFA HDGF funds for three non-profit groups 2021-2024: Housing Network of Hamilton County, 8 units for DD adults; New Housing Ohio, 20 PSH units in Lebanon, Ohio; New Home Development Co, 10 PSH units in Defiance, Ohio.

Consultation 2023-2024 with City of Delaware regarding residential tax abatements tied to affordability.

Consultant to Connect Realty for its 2018 9% tax credit application Northern Place Townhomes to Ohio Housing Finance Agency. Successful on 3rd try! Providing assistance in many areas for an experienced developer, but new to tax credits.


Secured OHFA HDGF funds for three non-profit groups 2018 and 2019: Housing Network of Hamilton County, 12 units for DD adults (also obtained AHP); Franklinton Development Association, 10 units for families in Columbus; New Housing Ohio, 20 PSH units in Franklin, Ohio.


Assistance through Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing to non-profit developers, including Alpha Phi Alpha Homes.


Project management for The Model Group, Inc. 2016-2017, regarding a 44-unit replacement housing project for Peoria Housing Authority under HUD’s RAD program, utilizing tax exempt bonds, 4% tax credits, Replacement Housing Factor Funds and other sources; grant preparation to Illinois’ Energy Grant program, FHLB of Chicago, etc.


Trainings: “How the numbers work” conducted 2015-2018 with Corporation for Supportive Housing for developers planning Permanent Supportive Housing projects.


Assisted developers at The Woda Group, Inc. by identifying service providers for their three Indiana 9% tax credit applications, October, 2015. Obtained MOUs for range of services to senior and family populations. Two of the three applications were funded.


Participated on a team of consultants to submit six tax credit applications for 9% credits in Kentucky, December, 2015. Five of the six applications were selected by KHC for funding. I prepared the numbers, the Underwriting Models, contributed to team strategy discussions, as well as securing service commitments for the mental health services set-aside.

Assisted developers at Columbus Housing Partnership (Homeport) with two tax credit applications to OHFA (one funded); prepared spreadsheets, filled out AHFAs, narrative writing, strategizing, review of due diligence and other documentation.
